As I write my third Sustainability Report for Crown Worldwide Group, I find myself reflecting on how far we have come together. When we began strengthening our sustainability program several years ago, our focus was on building foundations, these being understanding our impacts, establishing governance, improving our data, and creating the structures needed to support meaningful progress.
Today, while there is still much to do, sustainability has become increasingly embedded in how we operate, make decisions and plan for the future across our global business. This report reflects the collective efforts of colleagues across our global operations, representing every part of Crown. Whether they contributed carbon data, participated in sustainability training, supported a community initiative, improved operational efficiency, strengthened governance processes, or simply challenged their team to think differently, their contribution has helped shape the progress we are sharing in these pages.
The wider ESG landscape continues to evolve rapidly. Across many industries, organizations are facing economic pressures and shifting priorities, leading some to scale back sustainability investment or reduce the prominence of ESG programs. At Crown, we have taken a different view. Sustainability remains an important part of our long‑term strategy because we believe responsible business practices strengthen resilience, create value for our clients, support our people, and help us manage risks and opportunities more effectively. Our latest EcoVadis assessment provides encouraging independent recognition of this work.
While ratings and metrics are important, what gives me the greatest confidence is the growing level of ownership across the business. I continue to see teams identifying opportunities, sharing ideas, and taking action in ways that are meaningful to our business, operations, colleagues, and the communities. That spirit of collaboration is what makes progress possible. There is still much more to do, and we remain ambitious about the future. But the achievements in this report demonstrate what can be accomplished when people across a global organization work toward a shared purpose.
