2018 EMEA Service Partner event

The event was well attended, with 60 guests representing World Mobility Service Partners from the EMEA region.

Talks, awards and tours made for an action-packed day at London’s Imperial War Museum

The third consecutive annual EMEA Service Partner event took place at the Imperial War Museum in London on February 20, 2018. The event was well attended, with 60 guests representing World Mobility Service Partners from the EMEA region.

The action-packed day kicked off with talks from Crown: Peter Sewell, Crown Director of World Mobility UK, Ireland and Northern Europe, provided a Crown update and Simon Allen, Crown Information Management Services Development Manager, broke down GDPR, the hottest topic in data privacy, into digestible pieces. This was followed by a Partner Update focussed on collaboration that was given by Stuart Lawson, Crown Global Alliance Manager.

After lunch we were treated to some insight from a client. Andy King, Global Mobility Manager, Improbable, talked about the impact that strong partnerships have on the quality of service received, increasing the longevity of business relationships. This was followed by a heart-warming Corporate Social Responsibility presentation by David Stokes from the Crown Charity of the Year, Cleft Lip and Palate Association.
To bring the event to a very successful end, we held our annual awards ceremony for EMEA Partners. Each award is based on one of Crown’s values.

The winners of the 2018 EMEA Service Partner Awards are:

Determined – Sarah Howarth

Sarah is an independent consultant determined to provide the best service to Crown offices and clients alike.

Caring – Dwellworks

Dwellworks have achieved 96.72 percent assignee satisfaction. Feedback received is always about the care, time and effort they show every assignee and the support they show the Crown teams.

Sharing – Cambridge Removals

In order to improve service provision to clients, Cambridge Removals collaborated with Crown to develop a training center to enhance the skills of moving companies supporting our major clients.

There – Oasis

Oasis is repeatedly willing to work out of their time zone hours and hold training sessions to educate Crown teams about the SA marketplace.

Open Minded – Tenant Connect

Tenant Connect supports Crown with innovative services, meeting client and assignee needs that have previously been unfulfilled, and enhancing Crown’s value to our clients.

The event closed with a short presentation on the Imperial War Museum and the option to take tours of the exhibitions.
It was a successful event and overall feedback from the Partners was really positive. One participant commented: “I thought it was a fascinating morning – the information on Crown’s plans and commitment to their partners was fantastic and I enjoyed the data protection presentation.”

We also received constructive feedback about improving networking opportunities and providing an agenda before the next event. To the Service Partner who suggested Buckingham Palace for our next event: we will get in touch with the Queen to check availability!

We appreciate the commitment that it takes to attend the event, especially for partners located outside of London. We make every effort to coordinate with other industry events to make the best use of participants’ time and we look forward to seeing as many partners as possible next year.
