This month, we’re delighted to celebrate Barry Koolen, EMEA CEO and member of the Group Executive Board, as he marks 30 years with Crown Worldwide Group.
Over the past three decades, Barry has played a significant role in shaping Crown’s business and culture. Through his commitment to our purpose and values, he has made a lasting impact on colleagues, customers and communities around the world.
Originally from New Zealand, Barry joined Crown in 1996 as General Manager for Central Scotland and has since built a reputation as a respected and influential leader. Known for his authenticity, energy and approachable style, he has championed sustainability and DEI initiatives, supported community programmes, recognised colleagues’ achievements and strengthened connections across Crown’s global network.
Barry’s leadership has helped strengthen Crown’s presence across the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe while supporting the growth of multiple business units, including Crown Relocations, Crown World Mobility, Crown Records Management, Crown Fine Art and Crown Logistics.
Crown Worldwide Group CEO Jennifer Harvey, said: “From working with Barry, I know that he is always pushing himself to achieve bigger and better results, while holding himself to a really high standard.
