Steve Slade joined Crown in 1993 as an administration coordinator. Before Crown, his qualifications in construction design technology allowed him 14 years in the real estate industry, building a portfolio of experience in the moving arena, as well as in the technical and legal environment.

He has held several key positions for Crown, UK and Ireland, including that of Corporate Services manager, Customer Services manager, Administration manager, Quality manager and Claims manager, Europe. Currently, he functions in a dual role, representing both household goods and records management, as compliance manager for Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ).

His accreditations and experience include ISO 14001 Environment, ISO 9001 Quality management, ISO 18001 Occupational Health and Safety standards. Steve is a NEBOSH National Certificate in Environmental Management (Distinction) holder, a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (Credit) holder, a RoSPA-approved safety inspector, an IOSH Managing Safety certificate holder, and a member of the Crown Global Environment committee.
